Spectrum - Live at Cooper's Ale Works May 6, 2009
To help celebrate Spectrum's new EP "War Sucks." Here is a spectacular recording of them playing at Cooper's Ale Works in Nevada City, California. This is a matrix recording, which blends together an audience and soundboard recording. If you are not familiar with Spectrum, it's Pete Kember's band. He was one of the original members of Spacemen 3. It's a great band worth checking out. On tour he plays a few songs from the Spacemen 3 era, just like Jason Pearce of Spiritualized. Actually, you'll notice a few on this recording like Suicide and Transparent Radiation. And man, he really takes his songs to a tripped out space. The intro alone is over thirty minute of pure psychedelia. Amazing head music.
Set List:
Intro
Mary
Transparent Radiation
Set Me Free
How You Satisfy Me
When Tomorrow Hits
Revolution
War Sucks (instrumental version)
Suicide

Hello! Is the link still working? I try to download it, but it is not working. This would be a fabulous set to have. If the link is broken, kindly re-up! And thanks a lot for offering it.
Sorry about this. I don't understand why it's not working. The it is definitely there. But for some reason it wont pop up. I will try and fix it real soon. Or will re-up it.
