Stop the Internet Blacklist!

Just the other day, President Obama urged repressive regimes around the world to stop censoring the Internet. But at the same time, the United States Congress is hatching a plan to censor the Internet here at home. A new bill being debated this week would instruct the Attorney General to create an Internet blacklist of sites that US Internet providers would be required to block.

The Rolling Stones / New Barbarians - 04/22/1979 Blind Date Revisited

Here is an old Swinging Pig release. I used to love getting bootlegs from this underground label. Nine times out of ten they would sound amazing. This is one of those cases. This soundboard is a must have for both your Stones and Barbarians collection. Recorded at the Civic Auditorium, Oshawa, Ontario, Canada on April 22nd 1979.  This is the 2nd show from this location. I'd like to thank Mr Snow for sharing this recording with us. Like many of The New Barbarians shows this one is full of drunken debauchery. And it carries right into the Stones set as well. It seems everyone is drunk and I'm sure some other. They are a bit sloppy, and make a few mistakes here and there, but damn if their not having a grand ol' time. This show is a fun listen.

Set 1
01. INTRODUCTION BY CLIFF LORRIMER AND JOHN BELUSHI
02. SWEET LITTLE ROCK 'N ROLLER
03. F.U.C. HER
04. BREATHE ON ME
05. INFEKSHUN'
06. I CAN FEEL THE FIRE
07. AM I GROOVING YOU
08. SEVEN DAYS
09. BEFORE THEY MAKE ME RUN
Set 2:
01. PRODIGAL SON
02. LET IT ROCK
03. RESPECTABLE
04. STAR STAR
05. BEAST OF BURDEN
06. JUST MY IMAGINATION
07. WHEN THE WHIP COMES DOWN
08. SHATTERED
09. MISS YOU
10. JUMPIN' JACK FLASH

Dungen's New Album "Skit I Allt" and tour.

I'm going to see these kats play tonight at The Earl in East Atlanta. Should be a good time. I actually got to see them, a few years back at The Earl, and had a wonderful time. This time, I've prepared myself with a pocketful of molly. She always makes music, oh so beautiful, and full of color. Hope to see some of you there. And if you haven't gotten a chance to hear their new album, check it out. "Skit I Allt" is another amazing effort. It's a bit mellow and maybe a little less psychedelic, than past works, but still a wonderful listen. Dungen is one of those bands that doesn't disappoint.

Santana - Avalon Ballroom 1969/3/26

Here's a nice early soundboard from Santana, playing at the psychedelic Avalon Ballroom in San Fransisco. Not a bad sounding recording. I love the early Santana, nice and gritty. Great jams and always mind altering. So, grab some herb and close your eyes, and let that light show begin.

Set List:
Intro
Waiting
Treat
Evil Ways
Shades of Time >
Savor >
Jingo //fades out bummer.

SiHKAL: Shulgins I Have Known and Loved

I envy Hamilton Morris. To be able to meet and talk with Ann an Alexander Shulgin must be a psychedelic experience in an of itself. This is a very interesting video. Wish it was longer.
