OK, Here is part 2 of 3. Enjoy. Part 3 will be up in a couple if not sooner. It all depends on my motivation. And that is saying allot.
This is a great sounding 1972 Long Island concert. This is The Cooper Band at its best. The only real draw back of this concert is the incomplete recording of "Is It My Body." There is also two other partial cuts on "Dead Babies" and "Killer." Don't let this stop you from checking this show out. The rest is rocking.
Here is some more tracks from this amazing night. Sound quality is right up there with the other part I posted earlier. The speed is fine on this one. I also corrected the speed on the earlier post. Sorry about that, I don't know what happened. So, now we got a pretty jamming set of live Velvet Underground.
For information on this 2 cd set checkout out The All Music Guide. Mark Deming does a great job explaining the history. This is a great sounding recording, one should not be without.
Here's another. Been in a Les mood these past few days. If you get a chance, hunt this film done. It's hilarious. I watched this many years ago, when I lived in Boston, with a bunch of freaking maniacs. "Never trust anyone over thirty." Was the motto of this film. I couldn't agree more. That's saying allot since I'm thirty plus. The music is as dated as the film, and that's what makes it great. So, grab what's left of your hash and begin again.
