Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks March 22, 2008
If you haven't had a chance to listen to Stephen Malkmus new album "Real Emotional Trash." Definitely check it out. I believe it to be his best yet. His band is rock solid. Great jams, killer guitar tones, and bad ass drums. And you can't leave out his usual witty lyrics. This album does not disappoint in in the psychedelic factor.
This concert is from his current tour, and it sounds great. I've been listening to the album and the show equally. And they really jam out the tracks from the new record, as well as revamp songs from past albums. It's a great overall set, if you unfamiliar with his previous works.

The Velvet Underground - The Gymnasium, NY City. April 1967
This has got to be one of the best sounding early recordings out there. Usually when it come to early VU concerts the recording are really a challenge to get through. This is not the case here. Very enjoyable. A must have for anyone interested in early Velvet Underground. And it also has that nice vinyl crackle for you record lovers. (Eric). I mean this in a good way.

Charles Manson - One Mind - 2008
Yes, it appears coo-coo bird has a new album. And being the hip insane man, that he is. The album is licensed under the Creative Commons Copyright. In other words it's free to share. You can read more about it here. The album is pretty raw, acoustic guitar and vocals. But I must say it is rather interesting. I haven't had a chance to really get into it yet. From what I have listened to, it is typical old man Charlie. His voice is a little older, but his mind is as twisted as ever. So, take a trip back in time with one nut, who is still stuck there.
