Clem Alford "Mirror Image"
Here is some nice mellow sitar heavy instrumental music. Released back in 1974 "Mirror Image" is a must have chill out record. This album is super relaxing. Man, if you can make it to the end with out hitting your head on the ceiling, I'll be amazed. It's definitely a stony delight. So, grab yourself some wacky tobaccy, nutmeg, banana peels, or whatever it is you crazy kids do today, and put your mind onto an old new psychedelic sound.

Mesmerizing Eye - A Musical Light Show
This is about as psychedelic as it gets. Trippy stuff my man. Created by two producers Larry Goldberg and Hank Levine with a few studio freak musicians. Its got it all baby, fuzzed out guitars, sound effects galore and lots random brain sizzle. These instrumentals run right into each other like liquid. They got a thing for phones, ringing, ringing, ring, ring. Man, this is some far out shit, man. These guys were definitely on it 40 years ago. I think it might be time to take a trip back to 1967. So,Get your favorite psychedelic and enjoy the weirdness.

Dungen Live at Grey Eagle Asheville, NC
In celebration of Dungen's new album "Tio Bitar" here is a live concert from back in 2005. This recording is straight off the soundboard. I converted the concert to 192 bit rate. If anyone would like a lossless FLAC copy let me know. This concert was to support their prvious album "Ta Det Lungt", if you haven't had chance to hear this album, I highly suggest you do. You can buy their albums at Dungen.
Please do, you wont be disappointed. There is also a solo album that rocks as well. "Life On Earth" This album has a bunch of players. And is dripping with vintage sound.
These guys are keeping that psychedelic spirit alive.
Enjoy.Dungen 05-09-19 Asheville, NC

Birth Control
What can I say these guys rock. I just really got turned onto this band a few months back. My first introduction to them was Birth Control Live 1974. This record is unbelievable. To give you kind of an idea of their sound, it would be a cross between early Deep Purple, Humble Pie and a dash of Led Zeppelin. If you end up liking this record, definitely check out some of their studio albums. Rebirth and Operation are two really
strong works. I find their early albums to be the best. The blog site Out Of Focus has lots albums to choose from. As well as many other great progressive rock bands. So, go over there and give them some love. You wont be disappointed. I can't thank them enough for helping my collection grow.

Note: Bilek commented that Heavy Rock Spectacular has a cleaner Version. Thanks for the heads up.

Back From Bangkok.
Well, I'm back in my home town. Had a great time in Bangkok. Wish I was still there. There is so much to see in Thailand. The people are great. I haven't smiled that much since a liquefied Grateful Dead concert. My smile muscles hurt after the first day. I can't say enough good things about the people, and their country.
I haven't had time to upload any music lately. Sorry about that. But all is not lost. I did come across some great blog sites, while in Bangkok. One of great interest is Gustavoeo. If you love The Kinks as much as I do check this site out. There are at least ten albums posted there. They are all early works. Such as Percy, Arthur, Something Else By The Kinks, Preservation Society, Kinda Kinks and more. I highly recomend "
Something Else By The Kinks" this album is great. It's not like their earlier records. They tend to vier away from their psychedelic pop side, and steer towards a more acoustical vibe. I love it.
I just want to thank Gustavoeo for taking the time to upload these gems. Make sure you pass one on.

Mary Butterworth - 1969

This is a great one. Can't stop listening to this record. They formed in back in 1968, and released this album in 1969. I don't know much about these guys. But honestly it's not as much about them is it is about the music they created. This they did with psychedelic jamming extravaganza. From what I have read this record is a collectors dream. Original vinyl has sold for as much as a grand. I can understand why people would pay it. Every song is solid, and when it its over you want to start again. The jamming is rathere fast paced which seems to speed time by. Everytime the last song come on I always surprised at the quick passing. I can't say enough about my enjoyment for this record. Give it a listen.

Baiyina (Clear Evidence) - Pat Martino 1968
In vein of the Arnie Lawerence Album I put up awhile ago. Here is a great record by Pat Martino. This is an all instrumental album. Baiyina has that Miles Davis "In A Silent Way" feel about it. The major difference is the Indian instrumentation.
There is Indian percussion and droned out sitars throughout the record. With this and the mix of rock, jazz, and psychedelia you end up with a truly unique album. Not to mention the fact that Pat Martino is a freaking amazing guitar player. I highly recommend this record for those into the psychedelic jazz side. The album is very relaxing and smooth. Great for late night mellow time. Turn on your red light, or light your candles and
incense. Spin one up and enjoy this masterpiece.http://www.mediafire.com/?dizjyguuziv

Skip Bifferty - 1968

Here is some Psychedelic Pop for your weekend enjoyment. After many 45's, RCA released there first full length record. Which came to be the only release on RCA, and with that group of musicians. The songs all have that pop formula with that Psychedelic twist. Each song has a little something, be it guitar or vocal e
ffects, tape loops or experimentation in instrument choice. One thing is for sure, you got to love Skip Bifferty's record cover. I do wonder why they called Skip Bifferty? Its not a band member's name. I do like to say it over and over. Its catchy in a weird and annoying way. Enjoy the music.http://www.mediafire.com/?elezzkj3zxw
